Francesca Residence is part of a three-facility complex of the Daughters of Divine Charity.  It is situated on two beautifully landscaped acres featuring a gazebo, bench seating and a walking path.  Parking is available for residents and their guests who are always welcome.  The dining room has two beautiful window views on each side.
 

We require all of our residents to be able to walk independently, with or without the aid of a walker or cane.

However, all rooms have elevator access and there is no need to take any stairs.

The chapel and the dining area are located on the first floor.
 

We are surrounded by beautiful flowers, pines and other wonderful plants.  A Resident can walk around with a feeling of safety and security.  We believe that seniors want a quiet and comforting residence where their fears and concerns are removed.  We provide a place to reflect on times past and to ponder the challenges of the future.
 

Our home is located in Highland Square, a lovely Akron suburb.
This convenient location offers easy access to shops, restaurants, banking facilities, drug stores, quality medical and dental care providers and facilities as well as the Metro bus line.

Residents are able to walk to the dining room without exiting the building.

 

Our grounds are breathtaking in the spring.  There is a wide variety of trees and plants which provide a serene, back-to-nature walk.
Residents and family members can take walks around the facilities and enjoy the comfort and privacy of our grounds.
 

All linens are laundered for you. Delicious, wholesome meals in a comfortable dining area is a welcome part each day at Francesca Residence, we offer breakfast, noontime and supper. Our dining room gives our residents a chance to mingle.
 

Visit our friendly beautician weekly or monthly.  Enjoy the convenience of hair care services without worrying about transportation; simply take the elevator to the salon.  Financial arrangements and scheduling for services are made directly with the hairdresser.
 

Now you have time to spend peaceful moments in our chapel.
Join the Sisters in offering daily Holy Mass.  Residents gather most days of the week to pray the rosary.  Start your day with an inspiring homily by Father Kraker.
